MBA Distance Learning

As a busy and ambitious professional, you may want the range of skills and expertise that an MBA can provide, but do not have time to accommodate the schedule of a less flexible MBA program. Firm on standards and quality, the Swiss School of Management MBA Distance Learning program allows you to tailor your study route to meet your own specific requirements. The SSM Master of Business Administration program is specifically designed to provide an intellectually demanding and rigorous program that enables you to study when and where you wish and to take examinations anywhere in the world. Distance education enables you to work at your own pace (within certain limits), at the times which suit your lifestyle, personal circumstances and in an environment of your choice.

Program Overview

Entry Criteria

  • Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program by distance learning should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • All MBA candidates must have a sound command of English language, spoken and written.
  • The final decision csoncerning the acceptance to the MBA program (distance learning) rests with the Swiss School of Management.

Program Requirements

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program involves the completion of 9 core-courses plus another 5 courses of specialization. Each course represents 4 credit points out of total 56. The master's thesis represents another 4 credit points. For graduation a participant needs to achieve 60 credit points. Students are required to complete projects, assignments, and exams, as assigned by the appointed professors.


Time for completion and start of the program

Completion time for the MBA program is expected to be in the range of 12 months as an average. However, students may take up to a maximum of 3 years to complete the program


Examination Centres

Each course has its specific completion modus. Some require a written final case analysis and/or projects, to be submitted by postal services. Other courses require a written final examination, to be held under supervision at a study center recognized by the SSM.
