Program Overview
· Candidates seeking admission to the Executive MBA program should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
· A minimum of 2 - 5 years work experience in the field of Business Administration.
· All Executive MBA candidates must have a sound command of English language, spoken and written.
· The final decision concerning the acceptance to the Executive MBA degree program rests with the Swiss School of Management.

Program Requirements
The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program involves the completion of 9 core-courses plus another 5 courses of specialization (major) each course represents 4 credit points out of total 56. The Master's Thesis represents another 4 credit points. For graduation a participant needs to achieve 60 credit points.
It is required to complete projects, assignments, and exams, as assigned by the appointed professors. In general, experienced faculty members lead courses. The curriculum typically covers functional areas of business and the integration of those functional areas. As a result, participants gain an understanding of the enterprise as a whole, as well as the ways in which all parts of the business fit together.
Time for completion and start of the program
The program requires a commitment of some 5-10 hours per week plus class time for group work, assignments, and exercises. According to the latest Executive MBA Council survey, it takes on average 15 months to complete the program. Participants meet once a week on Fridays or Saturdays.

Most students enter the program with 10 or more years of professional or managerial experience. What happens in the class-room?
Our Executive MBA Program offers students a challenging, stimulating learning experience that maximizes the return on their investment of time and resources.
This MBA program is the first in the world to offer personal coaching on one to one basis for the entire duration of the program.
Students often work in teams during the program, strengthening their networking and broadening their perspectives and business problem solving. Students benefit from the extensive collective professional experience of other students in their class.
What course work does the curriculum include? The curriculum typically covers functional areas of business and the integration of those functional areas. As a result, students gain an understanding of the enterprise as a whole, as well as the ways in which all parts of the business fit together.
Only experienced faculty members lead courses. Many serve as consultants to industry, and they often are recipients of teaching awards. Courses cover much of the same areas as in traditional MBA programs: accounting, finance, statistics, management, marketing, and information systems. After satisfactorily completing course work, students receive a Master of Business Administration degree.
Each course (module) is worth 4 Credit Points and is assessed by either an examination or an assignment, or by a combination of both. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is granted to participants who achieve 60 Credit Points; it is classified as Pass, Merit or Distinction, depending upon performance in the modules and project.
